Cielitto Lindo Restaurant in Waller

this is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. I was horrified to see when we went in today that despite the fact that we are starting to see a second covid 19 spike in Harris county not a single staff member except for the front desk was wearing a mask. No one in the kitchen no one waiting tables no masks whatsoever. restaurant staff see so many people when there is business going on that they will be the pivot points of further infection in our neighborhood. I am so disappointed I won't be back

The food is pretty good. Have to try it.

A nice little Mexican restaurant in an area where there are not many other options. A good selection of dishes although not many vegetarian options available.

Would give it a five if it had better salsa. Good service to and food.

So my son and went there today for lunch. Midway through eating I see him swat at something on his arm, then I see said object fly on the table dead. It was a cockroach that had originally landed on his head. We immediately told the waitress who gasped and said “sorry”. Another lady came out about 5 minutes later saying that the roaches are coming out due to the chemicals they are spraying for COVID. Needless to say we could not finish our meal. Upon checking out they still charged my son full price for his meal with a side of cockroach. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never again!!!

Usually have lunch meetings here. Good lunch specials and accommodating staff. Friendly and quick service.

Chips and Salsa are Good, Roomy lots of seating. Outside patio is nice we ate inside this visit tho. Clean Restroom. Kids shrimp plate was good my daughter like it Fries are GREAT Very Tasty Fries we all liked them! My enchilada was not very Authentic tho :( . My husband's Soft Beef tacos we're good and he said Rice was pretty good :). Pretty friendly staff.

Service is amazing here, very attentive you're never left asking yourself where the waiter is. The food is pretty good nothing to rave about but satisfactory. They have good margaritas and a large menu of things to choose from. I will definitely continue going there.

Great food, friendly, experienced servers and staff. Clean, fast, attentive and great menu options. Salsa Verde and Tomato Salsa with fresh chips. Enjoyed our visit.

We are loving this place. We are regulars here. Antonio is always providing great service with a smile. He knows what we like and my husband never has to wait for margarita. Clean place. We are here at least 8 times a month. We never had a problem.

Food was bad. I order a fajita and the meat was not done properly. I got sick,my girlfriend ending up sick and my cousin couldn't even make it to work for stomach pain. I will never go back to eat at tgis place. Poor quality

Hands down the worst service ever experienced at a Cielito Lindo. Seated at a booth 2 tea's ordered 25 minutes no order taken one chip bowl emptied and two more bowls delivered at almost the exact same time by two different bus waiter... no waiter to be found. We got up from the booth walked to the front with menus in hand and offered to pay for our two tea's and the young lady at the register couldn't speak english and didnt understand that we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. The manager shows up asking if we would like to be seated. WHAT???? We explain to him that we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave as we weren't pleased with the restaurants 25 minute wait to have our orders taken. This is lunch at 1:45pm not busy hardly any patrons for a Monday. I do not see us or my family returning anytime in the near future. We would need to hear from people we know of good reviews and experiences before trying this place again.

Food is always good and consistent. Sometimes the wait staff gets a little rushed and forget that this is a "dining experience" not just an "eating" experience. But, food is good and price is reasonable. We like it.

Service was great. The waiters/waitresses were very nice. The food on the other hand was not good. Most of it was super soggy. In my Arnold Palmer there was a dead bug. Good service but bad food.

Place has decent food and good margaritas at a decent price. Located off Waller-Tomball in Waller.

My family stopped here on our way back from Galveston. We were SO glad that we did! The food was AWESOME!! It had just the right amount of spices and flavor, and there was plenty of it. They definitely did not skimp on the amounts! We had 7 different plates from the menu, and they were all great. Two of our family members have several food allergies besides their gluten intolerance. One got the Bacon-wrapped Pepper & Cheese stuffed Chicken. She said it was the best food she had eaten in a long time. (By the way, they took the food allergies seriously, and went out of their way to get our family what they needed.)The waiters were excellent, always attentive to what we wanted. The whole place, including the restrooms, was was very clean.

Great day for Pina colada or something else for that matter. I been really wanting that I am making some changes for the better. Today is my celebration great food, great drinks stop by your going to be glad you did I am.

Service is always great. Food is good simple and fresh, prices are fair. I would like a bit more seasoning and flavor as well as a few times my chicken, beef or seafood was over cooked and dry. Still the best Mexican restaurant in this area.

Slow. Loud. Unable to communicate well with waiters. Nobody in my party liked their dinners. Pricey. Won't be back.

1st time had tuff fajitas, 2nd time tried the vegetable enchiladas which were ok, but the veggies are rather large to be put in a tortilla, probably be a third time though.

Good option for Mexican food in Waller. A little pricier than the other option nearby, but this location is a better venue for sitting down with family & friends for a special occasion. Food is decent, not my favorite tortillas or margaritas. The manager/owner of this location is absolutely amazing! Bring in a party of 15 and be surprised at how he can remember the entire table's order down to the most extreme special requests. He is great!

There should be a 3.5 star option. This place is a local favorite. Nothing about it will blow you away but they make good TexMex. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced menu.

Being a latín of my community, I know what Tex mex and homemade Mexican food is supposed to taste like. Waller location, rice was stiff and dry as rocks, flour tortillas was not fully cooked that you can still smell the dough off it. Fajitas had no flavor.Tomball location: the smell of cigarettes hit your face when you open the front door, Green salsa had no flavor, looked like green pasty guke, bland, plan, it’s a shame to the salas name. The fajitas comb was the worst dry jerky tasteless dish I have ever had in my life! I ordered broil shrimp and received grilled shrimp, my 10 year old daughter returned from the ladies room and told me the art work in their wall stalls stated hateful words, profanity and let’s not forget Suicidal comments. food debris enbed in the seating area.

We ordered food for take out, it took 20,25 mins to get the food, restaurant looks pretty new as you can smell the fresh paint, the staff was nice and respectful, they lack variety and the food was not good as expected.

We have this amazing time in here! The service was great and the food so tasty, ohh the cheese with fajita was my favorite, we completely recommend this place, we definitely coming back. Thank you!

Been here a few times. I have always had a good experience. The ambiance is nice for a family sit down and one time I went they had a Mariachi band walking around playing music every once in a while. The service has always been good. The food is standard at what you would get at a sit down Mexican restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, good mexican food, good service

Great first visit, simple delicious Mexican fare in a cute space. Charro beans were fantastic, everything was well seasoned and flavorful, and staff is attentive and very friendly. Antonio is excellent. We'll definitely return.

Definitely NOT what it used to be!!Service was super slow. Waiter disappeared after simply appearing to prep our check and started working tables in another section of the building behind the wall by the bar. I had to go ask the cashier for my check, who then had to hunt down the waiter... not planning to go back anytime soon. Sad, given that this was a good go-to location for the past decade.

Pretty authentic Mexican food. They have great Tex-Mex cheese enchiladas and crispy tacos... waiting to try something new on my next visit. Had some spinach enchiladas, but, they weren't that good... it tastes like canned spinach, not fresh.

I have been going here for AWESOME mexican food for over 20 years.....they are the BEST!!!!

This place is unique in its setting ... The servers are friendly and down to earth ... Their food is Tex-Mex and good portions for the price ... Give them a try ... You wouldn't be disappointed 🙌💫
